At the December meeting of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society’s Board of Directors, Society President Admiral Charles S. Abbot, U.S. Navy (retired), left, sporting a blue Band for Freedom, presented all Board members with Bands for Freedom. Chairman of the Board, General Michael Hagee, USMC, Commandant of the Marine Corps, seated, received a red one.
Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Vern Clark, USN, right, is wearing his white Band For Freedom on his hand. Bands for Freedom were also given to guests attending the Society’s holiday party on December 15th.

Bands for Freedom donates another $10K to the AFRT.
Members of Bands for Freedom Inc. traveled to Jacksonville, Florida, to greet the USS Kennedy—one of the Navy’s most famous aircraft carriers—and welcome home many of our brave soldiers. During the visit, another $10,000 was donated to the Armed Forces Relief Trust.
